#WordsareStones Final meeting was held on 24th of September 2019. The final conference of the project took place in Brussels, in the heart of European policy. All partner organisation attended on the event, as well as representatives of the European parliament. Amalipe Center was represented by Atanas Atanasov and Valeri Angelov.
During the conference the partners presented the results achieved of 2 years of hard work on prevention of hate speech online and offline. Amalipe Center has a lot of experience in countering hate speech, hate crime, anti - gypsyism, and discrimination, and during the project timeline the organisation managed to conduct a lot of online activities in social media, as well as offline campaigns with predominantly young people.
Some of the activities within the proejct were:
- More than 20 posts in the social media - mainly Facebook – reaching more than 5000 users;
- Regular posts on the project activities on Amalipe’s website;
- Training provided to 90 students;
- 4 focus groups held with a total of 26 participants;
