Between 26 and 27 October, in the heart of Catalonia - Barcelona, the DigiUp project partners gathered to held the final partner meeting. The aim was to carry out the last partner meeting and the final conference on the project.
The project DigiUp, funded under the Erasmus + program, involves partners from 4 countries - Germany, Sweden, Spain and Bulgaria. Amalipe Center is the Bulgarian partner in the project whose main goal is to increase the capacity to use digital technologies for people whose skills are not developed enough. By learning new technologies, they will be more skilled and competitive.
On behalf of the Bulgarian side, Amalipe Center has been represented by Denitsa Ivanova and Daniela Hristova, principal of the PR Slaveykov United School in Julyunitsa, who was a trainer of the project. Ms Hristova talked about her experience, the difficulties and the results she had reached during the digital skills pilot course at her school.
During the two days of the workshop, the partners discussed the problems they had encountered and the success of the participants in the pilot course. They determined subsequent tasks and deadlines. Although organizations work with different target groups in each country - Roma people, migrants, the elderly, the participants said they saw an extraordinary sense of the work done and would look for ways to continue the DigiUP courses after the end of the project.
