17.11.2015A consecutive seminar for parents from Southern Bulgaria was held in Plovdiv
A seminar for parents from Southern Bulgaria took place in the city of Plovdiv from 13th to 15th November. Over 60 parental clubs' representatives took part in the event to share their experience in working with the schools.
Lectors of the seminar were Deyan Kolev, Chairman of Center "Amalipe", and Atanas Kuzmanov, Peter Malinovand Maya Pencheva, regional coordinators for Southern Bulgaria.
The accented topics were as such: "The role of the parental clubs in the scholar life", "The early marriages as a premise of early drop-out from school", "How to organize a community query" and the opportunities of additional funding of scholar activities by Operational Programme"ScienceandEducationfor SmartGrowth" and other projects.
The parents attended the sessions with great interest and were very active. They shared interesting solutions applied in the parental clubs activities. Parents, representing schools without parental clubs, demonstrated interest in creating them and how to be in use of the school management.
