     From 2 to 4 February 2014, in "Lesoparka" complex, near the town of  Lyaskovetz, Center “Amalipe” will hold a training for principals and teachers from pilot schools involved in the program “Every student could be a winner".

     The training will involve 80 teachers and principals from ten schools in the country: in the village of  Kameno, region Burgas, the village of Cherna gora, region Stara Zagora, town of Peshtera, region Pazardzhik, town of Dolna Banya, region Sofiya, towns of Gorna Oriahovitza and Pavlikeni, Veliko Tarnovo region, village of Tarnak, region Vratsa, village of Glava, region Pleven, village of Goliamo novo, region Targovishte and town of Novi Pazar, Shumen region .

The training aims to bring together teachers and principals that based on their experience to upgrade their skills to work in a multicultural environment and to share experiences and best practices.

Program "Every student could be a winner" is supported by the Trust for social achievement.

The Trust for Social Achievement (TSA) is a nonprofit organization, whose mission is to break the poverty cycle by promoting opportunities that help Bulgaria’s most disadvantaged citizens achieve educational and economic success. TSA supports programs that, with integrity, scalability, and transparency, boost the long-term achievement of Bulgaria’s poorest, with a focus on the Roma.

It aims at the prevention of school dropout of Roma children in compulsory schooling age. The activities intend to solve the problem of the large number of absences, low grades in school, the relatively small percentage of Roma continuing their education in secondary schools ( high schools ) , the non-participation of Roma parents in school life and school governance structures. The program builds on the extensive experience of Amalipe in introducing EPA "Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore" in dozens ( or even hundreds) of schools across Bulgaria .
