June 30: Volunteers from the Community Development Center in Etropole, which is part of the network of Centers designed by Amalipe Center, joint the in activities for clearing Asparuhovo, Varna after the flooding. The volunteers will stay in the affected area until July 4. They help in the cleanup process of the worst affected streets in the neighborhood, and their help is open to all residents, regardless of ethnicity.
Today to Amalipe sent humanitarian aid packages that were to help the inhabitants in those places. From June 22 to June 27 Centers and Local clubs for Community Development, created by Amalipe in ten municipalities in the country become places for recruiting aid. To support injured in Varna, Kilifarevo , Veliko Tarnovo, and Dobrich responded many of the local population of the municipalities in which there are Commynity Development Centers: Novi Pazar, Etropole, Peshtera , Cameno, Byala Slatina, Dolna Banya, Knezha, Pavlikeni and Strazhitsa. Within less than a week, there were gathered products and aids, such as: blankets, clothes, shoes, food, household supplies essentials, detergents and disinfectants. All collected is sent to the affected areas where volunteers from Amalipe Center outreach the households.
Amalipe Center team is grateful to the Municipality of Etropole and Kameno that in the process of organizing a volunteer group of local activists and transport of collected humanitarian aid from the Community Development Centers, the two municipalities covered the transport costs from the municipalities to damaged areas. This gives us confidence that the partnership is possible! And that with joint efforts, we can be better people!
