Signals received, that emergency teams already reject calls from several Roma neighborhoods!
Only for a day representatives of 65 non-governmental organizations, schools, parents clubs, local clubs, centers for community development and experts autographically signed a Declaration, condemned the statements of the Bulgarian Minister of Health Petar Moskov on 7th of December. Among the supporting organizations there are Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance “Amalipe”, Association “World Without Borders”, Association “New way” etc.
The declarations defines the specified qualifications as unacceptable and freghttening the constitutional and democratic order, and the probable order, which allows the emergency teams not to respond to signals, coming from Roma neighborhoods – also violating the constitution and laws.
The declaration also expresses concerns about the frequent incidents with Emergency teams and willingness to cooperation on field for overcoming these issues. The Document ends with exact prepositions and demands. Full text you can see HERE.
The declaration will be delivered personally to Moskov on a meeting, which will be conducted in the Ministry of Health on 10th December, at 09:00h.
Part of those who signed the Declaration alarmed, that Emergency teams already decline calls from Roma neighborhoods, besides there were not previous incidents in these places. The statement of the minister is used as a reason for such decline. Only on Monday there several such cases in Peshtera, Lovchentsi and other locations.
