17.06.2016Center "Amalipe" took part in a forum for early childhood development
A performance of the children's group "Smehorantcheta" put start of the "Investing early: Strengthening Early Childhood Development In Bulgaria" conference. The event was held on 15th June 2016 in Hall 8 in the National Culture Pallace.
The conference was opened by Mrs. Denitsa Satcheva, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Policy, the Mayor of Vratsa Municipality Mr. Kalin Kamenov, National holding of municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria, and the constant representative of the World Bank Mr. Tony Tompson.
The topics about providing services during the early childhood of children in disadvantaged state in Bulgaria, the priorities for future development of that services and how to proceed their implementation, were discussed at the conference.
A presentation of the "Project for social inclusion" and assessment of the "Ready for school" project were made during the conference. The second project is funded by Trust for Social Achievement and is in implementation for 2 years in several districts in the country.
Center "Amalipe"" organizes and coordinates activities by the project in the district of Veliko Tarnovo.
The conference was closed with a speech from the Vice Minister Mrs. Satcheva and Mr. Christiano Aedo, manager of "Global practice in the field of education" by World Bank.
