28.11.2016Second partner meeting within SERCO project was held
On 24 and 25 of November Center "Amalipe" participated in a second meeting within the project SERCo - Social Entrepreneurship for Roma communities. Place of the meeting was Barcelona - the city of Gaudi, gothic architecture style and wine.
Within two days the project partners discussed the activities that lie ahead, and what has been achieved so far. The focus was put on how to create social entrepreneurship in the Roma community, as representatives of the Centre "Amalipe" stressed the exclusive role of the moderators at the Centers for Community Development for organizing and activating the Roma community in Bulgaria.
During the meeting participants discussed also the materials for training of moderators in launching social entrepreneurship. Under the project each country - project partner will train 7 moderator, who in turn will train another 4. The purpose of the project is to establish at least one social entrepreneurship as a final product in each country of the consortium.
SERCO project aims to tackle the problem of social and economic inclusion of Roma communities in partner countries by applying the concept of social economy as an innovative solution for reducing the risk of poverty and promoting entrepreneurship. The main objective of the project is the creation of social entrepreneurship by persons of Roma origin can be used in national strategies for Roma integration.
