Joint statement entitled 'Remove systemic barriers to tackle the Roma public health emergency' was issued by 21 European and National Roma, Pro Roma and Public Health organisations on the occasion of the 10th European Roma Platform (29-30 November, Brussels). It calls that “Urgent policy actions are needed to tackle the Roma public health crisis!” On the occasion of the 10th European Platform for Roma Inclusion taking place on 29-30 November in Brussels, and prior to the 2017 mid-term evaluation of the European Framework of National Roma Integration Strategies, the organizations urgently call on all stakeholders, in the spirit of ‘Mutual Accountability,’ to consider 7 Recommendations in the area of Roma Health: see the statement here
The document is signed by 21 organizations, including European Public Health Alliance, ERIO, ERGO, Eurochild, many national organizations. AMALIPE Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance and World Without Borders Association are the organizations from Bulgaria.
