18.10.2017Diplomats from Sweden get acquainted with the work of Amalipe Center in Byala Slatina
Ms Pernila Baralt - State Secretary to Sweden's Minister for Children, Senior Citizens and Gender Equality, and HE Louise Bergholm, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bulgaria, visited Hristo Smirnenski Primary School in Byala Slatina. The senior guests were welcomed with a warm pie and a bunch of geraniums from the biggest studenst - the fourth graders. Mr. Evgeni Angelov, school principal, presented briefly about the successful practices in the work with the parent community, the motivation of students for active participation in the school life and their success in the educational process, as well as the long-term cooperation with Amalipe Center, . The Swedish delegation's working visit also included a meeting with the Mayor of Byala Slatina and volunteers from the Center for Community Development.
