From 12 to 14 of October Center Amalipe organized and conducted the second training seminar under the program ECA “Ethnic Folklore-Roma Folklore“. The “Lesoparka” complex \"brightened” by the presence of 65 teachers from 41 schools in the districts of Varna, Dobrich, Burgas, Haskovo, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Yambol, Sliven.

12.10.2012For the Second Year Amalipe Center Organized the Celebration of The Day of the Roma Culture and Pride
“Roma Pride” is an international initiative under the umbrella of EGAM (European Grass-Root Antiracist Movement). This initiative targets the Roma communities in Europe to organize leading actions that would expose the pride of their origin and culture. At the same time, it attracts the public attention to the problems of one of the largest minorities in Europe. Roma Pride is a Europe-Wide event, coordinated by many organizations based in numerous countries working in the fields of human rights, anti-racism and anti-discrimination.

Training seminars for teachers, who start to work under the Program „Ethnos folklore-Roma folklore” Elective Training will be held in October.
The first seminar was held in “Manastira”complex on 5, 6 and 7th of October. 40 teachers from 27 basic and pilot schools from the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik, Kuystendil, Blagoevgrad, Vidin, Vratza and Montana took part in the seminar.

In 2011 for first time Center Amalipe organized "Roma Pride" campaign, part of a European initiative Egham (European Civil antiracist movement) "Roma Pride". The campaign was organized under the slogan "My dream for Bulgaria - to learn and live together". In 2012 Centre "Amalipe" is organizing the same campaign under the same motto.
