                On 20th November is the beginning of several consecutive meetings of directors, representing the schools included in our project "Every student will be a winner". The schedule of the meetings is such:

19.11.2015Center "Amalipe" celebrated the International Day of Tolerance with different initiatives across the country

 

Center "Amalipe" celebrated the International Day for Tolerance in 2015 under the slogan "Different but together." The campaign included Centers for Community Development, Youth clubs to CIDT "Amalipe" and students volunteers from the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" studying Preschool Education with academic mentor  Mariana Mandeva.

 

Here's how the campaign went on:

 

 CCD-Veliko Tarnovo

 

 At 4 p.m. at "Marno pole" park in Veliko Tarnovo was celebrated the International Day of Tolerance by volunteers to CCD - Veliko Tarnovo and students from the University of "St. Cyril and Methodius ", which showed before the 5th Corps of the University that regardless of where we live and religion, we all want to share with others our world, our values. Students distributed flyers with the 10 golden rules for tolerance and every citizen had the opportunity to write a personal message.

 

 

 

Local club - Gorna Oryahovitsa:

 

 Theatrical performance with the participation of Bulgarian and Roma children was held on 16 November 2015., at 12: 30 a.m. at Primary school "P.Hilendarski", Gorna Oryahovitsa.

 

 Local club - Ledenik

 

 Students from 1st to 8th grade in school "Vasil Levski", village of Ledenik made a collage and a T-shirt dedicated to tolerance, drawings and games related to tolerance. The local moderator had a lecture on the theme "Meaning of tolerance, meaning of studying and meaning of success" to the students.

 

 CCD-Pavlikeni

 

Primary school "Bacho Kiro" in Byala Cherkva, together with the local club for community development Byala Cherkva, village of Batak and CCD Pavlikeni marked International Day of Tolerance. Students wrote messages of kindness, tolerance and respect. Volunteers from the local community also joined the initiative. This campaign aimed to show that all people were equal and should be tolerant to each other. Children were most sincere and they wrote what they thought of -to be good and responsive.

CCD - Byala Slatina and CCD - Knezha

 

Students from the town of Byala Slatina and surrounding villages marched through downtown and gave messages made by pupils from the primary school "Hristo Smirnenski" to passersby. The messages were related to tolerance. At the end of the event all young people gathered on the square in front of the Municipality of Byala Slatina together and released balloons in the air. Day of Tolerance was made through a joint initiative of the Centers for community development to conduct a football game as a sign of tolerance.

 

CCD - Strajitsa

 

On November 16 Center for Community Development – Strajitsamarked the International Day oftolerance in school Angel Karaliychev. Mrs. Penka Dacheva, presented "What is to be tolerant." CCD - Strajitsa with volunteers painted a panel of tolerance. Students from VI-grade had the opportunity to express their views and understandings of tolerance, what it was, and that despite the diversity in our world, how colorful and beautiful life was, how many different ways there were to express ourselves. No matter where we live, what we believe in, whether we have a disability, we all want the same - to share with others their world, feelings, capabilities, beauty, to be able to give someone our love. Exactly those similarities unite us and urge us to be tolerant. Tolerance is respect to things, a way to accept different from us, as we give it freedom to be itself. Tolerance is acceptance, understanding, respect.

 

Local clubin the village of  Vinograd celebrated the day of tolerance with drawings of children of primary school ''St. Kliment Ohridski.

 

CCD - Etropole

 

In "Hristo Yasenov" highschool in Etropole, students from 1st to 8th grade participated in the celebration of the International Day of Tolerance, with drawings on the asphalt, messages about tolerance, handing out flyers and games in the school yard.

 

 CCD-Kameno

 

Campaign to mark the International Day of Tolerance was held in Kameno. Volunteers of the Center for Community Development – townof Kameno draw a poster specially for the celebrating day and distributed balloons with positive thoughts and messages to everyone in the urban garden.

 

The celebration of the Day of Tolerance, November 16, began last week in the network of schools working with Center "Amalipe", located in various places in Bulgaria. Each school chose different activities to join the initiative.

 

 

 

 On November 12 students from the school "Otec Paisii" Borovan sang, recited and made drawings, expressing their tolerance for one another.

 

 Students from the school in Devene said out loud on November 13 - "We are tolerant". On the same day, messages of tolerance were addressed by students from the school "Tzanko Tserkovski"Sredishte.

 

 

 

  On November 16, students of the scholarship program "Equal Chance" from school "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the town of Simeonovgrad organized an initiative called "Tree of tolerance." They invited their classmates to hang their wishes about the celebration on the tree.

 

 

Under the slogan "We sing and dance together" went the festive concert in Second primary school "Vasil Levski" in the town of Omurtag. The children showed impressive dance skills and dexterity.

 

Children in 3-rd group in "St. Kliment Ohridski" in Pavlikeni made drawings and wrote messages on the topic "What means I'm tolerant". Then all received certificates for active participation.

 

Preparations for the International Day of Tolerance in School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius Zlatarica this year began a week before the date of different activities. The campaign slogan was "We are tolerant, and you?'' It covered all students from 1st to 8th grade, where under the form of games, case studies, role plays and films children showed how to be better and more responsible.

During the weekend students attending the Children's Center committed to making a poster and multicolored hearts with beautifully written messages of tolerance, because it is the quality that makes us more people!

 

On November 16, six graders visited city hall and gave hearts with messages to the employees who were surprised and delighted by the children's initiative. A poster was placed at the entrance of the building to be read by anyone who visits it. "Diversity in the world teaches us to be tolerant, shows us how colorful life is and how many different ways there are to express ourselves."

 

In school "Han Isperih" in the town of Novi Pazar students of the EPA "Ethnic Folklore" and students from the 2nd and 4th grades celebrated the Day of Tolerance with the presentation of the play "To be tolerant."

These are just some of the messages placed on flowers that today students participating in the EPA "Ethnic Folklore - Roma folklore" from third grade gave to their classmates, teachers and residents of the town of Vurbitsa.

 

 Students from School "Neophyte Rilski"Dolna Banya marked International Day of Tolerance with a number of events: the group of EPA "Ethnic Folklore"prepared a presentation for tolerance and together with the Student Parliament presented it in front of other students.

 

In school "Hristo Botev" Lopyan students from the Student Parliament urged their classmates to express themselves with stickers on which to record their opinion about how they understood the word "tolerant".

 

 Schools in villages of Tyrnak and Beglezh in northwestern Bulgaria also joined in the celebration of the Day of Tolerance with positive messages and handmade items.

 

 A "Week of Tolerance" was opened in the school inKnijovnik on November 16 under the motto "I chose to be a better person! And you?"

 

Week of Tolerance continues until 20th November across the country.
