20.01.2012Forthcoming: Celebration for Midwife’s Day
Centers for community development, created by “Center Amalipe” in Kameno, Etropole, Peshtera, Byala Slatina, Pavlikeni and Novi Pazar organizing celebrations for Midwife’s Day as well known as Grand Mother’s Day. The celebrations will include:
- Bathing small children from a midwife (old woman)
- Feast of young brides by a grandmother
- “Vlechugane” (bathing) of the midwife
- Presentation of ritual songs;
For all the journalists wishing to visit the Midwife’s celebration we can organize a visiting at a Roma house.
Celebrations will be held on January 21 (Saturday) from 11.30
