16.10.2012“Reflecting things as they are!"

With these words Dirk Thalmann, a veteran journalist, screenwriter, Chief Editor of a media, Human Rights Agency partner  in Vienna, began the training seminar with the team of CenterAmalipe"-Veliko Tarnovo.

Along with his colleague Martin Watson, the famous journalist presented to the office team part of his “craft:

-          Definition of news and how it should be presented

-          How to attract the journalist’s attention

-          How to find the balance between the negative and the positive piece of information

-          How to act in different media: newspapers, radio, television

Representatives of Amalipe’s team, working under several programs reaching thousands of parents, students and teachers were extremely satisfied with the guidelines given to them to reflect the Centre's activities, as well as practical lessons. The education team promised to share what is learned with teachers and principals, and representatives of the communities during the trainings under the “Prevention of Roma children drop out of school”.

All agreed on the conclusion that when a problem occurs, it should not be passed away. Talking about the problem is part of its possible solution.

The training seminar was held on October 11 in the Youth House, Veliko Tarnovo, a day after Martin Watson conducted an evaluation meeting under the FRA / Fundamental Human Rights / Program in the town of Novi Pazar.
