Community Development Centers, founded by center Amalipe, mobilize local communities in the municipalities of Veliko Tarnovo, Etropole and Pavlikeni to conduct charitable fundraising of clothes, shoes and toys. The initiative aims to help families in need to send their children to school and nursery school. The idea for this initiative arose in the fieldwork. Every day Community moderators are introduced to various pressing problems in the upbringing of children from families where the parents are permanently unemployed and live on the verge of starvation. 
Moderators of the Community Development Centers, knowing the specifics of the local community, developed a plan for conducting a fundraising campaign. The essence of this initiative was not so much to seek sponsors outside, but to mobilize the local community and identify levers for strengthening the capacity for mutual support within the community. The campaign to raise clothes, shoes and other necessities went in a form of exchange. The initiative was supported by the citizens of Etropole and Veliko Tarnovo, population of Arbanassi, Ledenik and Stambolovo villages and Pavlikeni Municipality.
