12.11.2012Responsibility, teamwork, initiative- the Center, Amalipe’s style
From 8 to 10 of November the Center Amalipe’s team held its annual meeting-STAFF RETREAT in the “Bryasta” complex, near Veliko Tarnovo.
The participants were managers, technical assistants, community moderators, all working on different social, health and educational programs run by Centre “ Amalipe " and the six regional coordinators, ensuring the implementation of the activities in 180 schools throughout the country included in the “Prevention of Roma children drop out of school " program.
Participants were divided into groups, with a particular goals and objectives. Using their exclusive competence and experience they showed their work, expressed opinions, sought answers to many issues that emerged in the course of work and made suggestions for improving the activities of the organization.
The most valuable suggestions were those related to communication between people and activities in various programs. Led by the same goal ( to improve the lives of people in the community, motivation of parents and students to take education as a value, to do everything possible for prevention and health awareness of the Roma) the team came together around the actual, reasonable working proposals and solutions.
With competence and professionalism, using the appropriate tone Deyan Kolev, T. Krumova Mariana Milosheva achieved the ultimate goal:
-to predispose groups to present the facts honestly and at the same time to give ideas.
-to promote creativity.
-to assert responsibility.
-the participants themselves came to the crossing points of social, health and educational programs.
-to rate the good team work.
A group was formed to develop and propose for discussion and approval rules for work communication that contribute to a simpler and more efficient way of working, both in the office and on the field.
The days of the meeting were full of ideas sometimes ,,revolutionary ", good humor, tolerance, creativity.
Once again, the managers, regional coordinators, the office team, have proved the sentence: “Together we can raise a mountain”.
