04.01.2013New textbook for the New Year!

New textbook was published for schools, implementing EPA Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore in 5th 7th grade entitled "Narrated roads".

The team of authors - Deyan Kolev, Joseph  Nunev and Teodora Krumova put a lot of effort and spent a lot of time to make this textbook very helpful. "It took a lot of efforts of many people and institutions to get the textbook to you - the authors shared. - We, the authors, were just some of those people. Warmly thank to all the others, namely:

All the students who in the past ten years have studied EPA Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore. Without you, this guide would not make sense and would not exist, because if you have to paraphrase one of the greatest fantasy writers Terry Pratchett, "a book is as great as more people read it!"

All directors, who do not see the Bulgarian school as number of students but as number of smiles on their faces and were ready to accept the challenge of something new to get more children to smile.

All teachers who took the challenge to teach Ethnic Folklore-Roma Folklore classes. Without you, this would remain just a good idea.

Angelo Malikov, Venci Dimov and Lozanka Peycheva who truly provided us with most of the songs and showed us the world of Roma music.

Vasil Chaprazov for his invaluable help in keeping the spirit of gypsy folklore and culture.

Ministry of Education and Science, which first adopted and approved the idea that children in Bulgarian schools to experience the magic of Roma folklore and, we hope, was ensured that this knowledge helps us learn and live together.

America for Bulgaria Foundation, in particular Sarah Perrin for her unconditional support and invaluable assistance, for being our partners in the challenge called educational inclusion.

The educational team and regional coordinators of Center Amalipe will provide the textbooks to the schools included in the programs, Prevention of Roma children drop out of school and all the other schools in the current school year which have Roma folklore classes as EPA, extracurricular activities or activities of interest. Guides are available free to schools that have Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore.

Every school in need should submit applications for textbooks "Narrated roads" 5-7 grade up to January 20 2013.
