Little streams make big rivers!

After Charity Ball held at the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce there were the results. Each year, the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce collects money for various charitable causes, and this year the chamber decided that this will be the cause of the Centre Amalipe.

The charity aiming to support schools, included in the program Decreasing the dropout rate among Roma students gathered funds that were provided to the Center Amalipe.

President of the Center Amalipe Deyan Kolev, who was among the officially invited guests, together with the Educational team of the Center, discussed the needs of every school. Resources are never enough, but it is important to consider the priorities and opportunities.

 The decision of CIEDT Amalipe was:

Donation of 1,600.00 lv. Will be provided to Tsanko Tserkovski  High school, district of Shumen headed by Katiliyan Kostadinov, for renovating bathrooms in the school, a problem that, if not removed, will lead to a risk of school termination by RHI.

 Deyan Kolev publicly expressed gratitude to Mr. Boni Bonev, Chairman of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce for his overall  support  on Center Amalipe  activities, for his generosity and love of children.

Center Amalipe expresses its sincere gratitude to the schools, that made an exhibition with items made by the children in the EPA Ethnic Folklore-Roma Folklore. We would like to thank also to the principal of 171 Stoil Popov school in Sofia, Vesela Ivanova, for the wonderful program that has been presented by her students.

The given hand and support to the Tsanko Tserkovski school will motivate the teaching staff and pupils to make the maximum possible – to add a small portion of its modest budget and to ensure hygiene and healthy lifestyles to its students.

This gesture is an example of how difficulties can be overcome and problems can be solved by willing, daring, compassion, and love of children!
