 On the occasion of the Roma New year, children from the village of Vodoley, Veliko Tarnovo municipality  congratulated the Mayor Daniel Panov with songs, dances and poems. The children also wished for health and prosperity throughout the year to the representatives of the municipal administration. The children brought the mayor also a traditional handmade bread “pitka”.  Moderators of Amalipe Center -Veliko Tarnovo, together with activists at local clubs for community development in the villages of Vodoley and Ledenik and students, representatives from the schools – Georgi Sava Rakovski ", Veliko Tarnovo, Hristo Smirnenski – village of Vodoley, "Vasil Levski"-village of Ledenik also congratulated representatives of the Regional Health Inspectorate and the Regional Inspectorate of Education in the city, as well as consumers of social services – Retirement home, Veliko Tarnovo. Everywhere the young people presented a joyful program that combined the Roma and Bulgarian folklore. The kids wished for good health, prosperity and love between people.
 In Gorna Oryahovitsa representatives of local  development club, part of the Center for community development- Veliko Tarnovo and children from the primary school Paisii Hilendarski-  Kaltinets neighborhood congratulated the mayor of Gorna Oriahovitsa engeneer Dobromir Dobrev on the occasion of Vasilitsa –the Roma New Year. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the local administration. Besides the traditional whipping with a stick for good luck -sourvakane, Roma children presented songs, dances and the legend Bango Vasil / defender of the Roma people /.

In Pavlikeni the moderators from the Center for Community Development, together with the Pavlikeni municipality, the children complex in the town of Pavlikeni, celebrated  Vasilitsa with a program at the local community center. Among the official guests were Mayor Pavlikeni engineer Emanuil Manolov, deputy mayor Mr. Kharitonov, local government representatives, representatives of social, health and educational institutions in the city, as well as representatives of the local community. The program included a re-enactment of the legend of Bango Vasil. The representatives of the clubfrom the village of Batak presented Bulgarian folklore dances. Students from the school "Bacho Kiro" in Byala Cherkva presented belly dancing, and students from "Bacho Kiro" and school "St. Kliment Ohridski ", town of Pavlikeni and "St. Cyril and Methodius" from the village of Batak presented songs, dances and poems.  The guests of the event were whipped with a stick for good health and luck in  Bulgarian, Roma and Vlach language.
 In Strazhitsa municipality the Center for Community Development on the occasion of the Roma New Year known also as "Bango Vassili" little kids from "St. Kliment Ohridski" wished  health and prosperity of all employees from the Directorate "Social Assistance" and  Directorate "Labor Bureau  ", citizens and guests of the city and all municipal employees. First to feel the cornel sticks his back was the  mayor of  Strazhitsa Engineer Detelina Borisova, Deputy Mayor Stefan Ivanov, the Chairman of the municipality council  Ilian Marinov , the Director LOD Rosica Simeonova. All learned the story of Bango Vasil and why Roma people honor him and heard wishes for health and prosperity in Bulgarian and Roma language .The awarded children and 80 extremely poor Roma children from the town Strazhitsa received presents from the administration representatives and the Center for community development.
Fifteen students from the elective class "Roma folklore" in school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in the town of Zlatarica congratulated on January 14, officials of the District Administration - Veliko Tarnovo with the Roma New Year - Vasilitsa. Children aged 9 to 14 years, presented a reconstruction of the Roma custom Bango Vasil, a typical Christmas meal, rituals, songs and dances. Dressed in traditional costumes, children sang and  danced a traditional folklore dance - horo in the lobby of the District Administration. After the colorful spectacle children whipped with a stick  health officials of the administration, the Governor Pencho Penchev and his deputy Lubomira Popova. The kids received  institution packages filled with goodies!
