14.03.2013The Film residence in Lesidren host a meeting of directors of the North Central Region
CIEDT Amalipe organized a workshop for directors of schools in North Central Region, working on the project "Reduction of Roma children drop out of school", held on 11 and 12 March 2013 in Film residence - Lesidren, Lovech region.
26 directors from Pleven, Lovech and Veliko Tarnovoworking on the educational project of Amalipe Center, took part in the meeting. Special guests were Mr. Rajko Raikov – Head of the Regional Education Inspectorate of the Ministry of Education - Lovech and Mrs. Daniela Bachovska - Head of "IOMD" of the Regional Education Inspectorate of Ministry of Education - Pleven.
During the meeting the directors were able to share their experience in working in a multicultural environment and in the implementation of the elements of the program and to discuss problems with students and parents in the context of education - educational process.
Of special interest were the shared best practices from two basic schools. The short distance of the school "H. Botev "- Kirchevo was a great motive for the EPA group on Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore to demonstrate their knowledge for spring traditions in different ethnic groupsin an open class. Graduates of teacher Stefan Borisov recreated part of "Singing of the Rings" and made a musical greeting to guests. Ms. Nevena Krayninska - Director of the school presented her team of teachers and shared the successful implementation of projects under different programs. School 'Hr. Smirnenski "- Koynare also shared their experiences through a video film. Ms. Daniela Tsonyovska focused on joint initiatives with pilot schools of the Glava, Chomakovtsi and Radomirtsi villages and the positive impact of the implementation of the educational project of the Center Amalipe.
Colleagues from the school in Kirchevo managed to surprise all participants in the meeting with their dancing skills, recreating the beauty of the graceful Bulgarian folklore dance.
All directors shared that the meeting has been very effective and necessary and they expect the education project of the Amalipe Center to continue to the next stage.
