Customs and celebrations are an integral part of our culture. Each ethnic group formed the Bulgarian nation is rich in tradition. They make us different, but do not set us apart. As a part of our lives, they make our nation colorful, enrich us and teach us to respect and accept their differences. They convey historical experience of generations. They carry rich symbolism, which makes a man to live with their merits since a child, to be a carrier and follower of traditions, adding new models to enrich native art. The "Legacy of the master" collects the rich creative spirit of Bulgarians, Roma, Turks, Vlachs, Armenians and others, the acumen of future days, faith in goodness, hope in tomorrow. Centuries have left magic in the works of various ethnic groups in Bulgaria, the richness and ambiguity of colors, the poetic language of music, the unique world of fine and applied art. Meeting the creations of "Master" is not only communicating with great art but experience to go down this road – a complex road, full of wisdom and human strength and uniqueness. Art is different, but it does not make us different.Through the child’s eyes one can see the purest and emotional presentation of the traditions and cultures of each of us.

The aim of the competition is to stimulate creative imagination and cognitive activity of children and young people on the topic and to promote and present the works created by presenting a wealth of different ethnic groups in Bulgaria.
