Days on the topic "How to overcome aggression in Bulgarian school" were held in the Kaltinets square, Gorna Oryahovitsa. The initiative is a collaboration between the Center "Amalipe" and the Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa. During several consecutive days the moderator from the local club for development Iskra Nikolova held various games and sports activities with children from Kaltinets square. The idea is young people to control their anger and to channel their energy in a positive direction through sports. "Sport is at the heart of harden the spirit and the will, and this is incorporated in the program of work with children and young people from the neighborhood" – said Iskra Nikolova.

 Besides sports activities, local club for community development to Amalipe Center, Veliko Tarnovo initiates training - training for students from 4 to Grade 8. The training will be conducted by teachers and psychologists and will include mostly interactive forms and methods for working with students.

 The first talk was held on April 24 with students from fourth and seventh grade from "St. P.Hilendarski” in Gorna Oriahovitsa. Conversation was as unconventional thematic lesson using the method of "Forum Theatre". Through role playing and the Forum Theatre technique, the children had the opportunity to get acquainted with the forms of aggression and ways to counteract it. They played out various school situations and sought ways to deal with problems.

 Guests were deputy mayor of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa - Mariya Kusheva and representatives of the Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance "Amalipe" - Sylvia Boyanova - coordinator and Angel Angelov community moderator.

 Silvia Vassileva – junior Expert in "Humanitarian and international relations" introduced students to the types of aggression, how to be recognized, how to be prevented. She explained to the children how they can protect themselves from abuse, who to talk to and where to seek help if there's any problems. Students solved a test to determine if they were willing to be aggressive. And to be finished as positive and untraditional as it has begun, the lesson ended with a hug between children.

 Deputy Mayor Jordanka Kusheva make a gift to the school library-books with the symbols of Gorna Oryahovitsa, a  book by Prof. Neno Nedeltchev -  "Atanas Burov" and the collection of impressions, poems and essays "On the spiral of life." Students received informational materials and goodies from Amalipe Center.

These lectures will be held each month at the local club for development and discussions with parents will be conducted to achieve lasting positive change.
