Amalipe Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerancein partnership with the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Veliko Turnovo,, Cyril and Methodius" organize a National Scientific Conference Intercultural Education - a Method to Reduce Dropout of Roma Children from School.
The conference will be held on 25 and 26 June 2013 in Veliko Tarnovo, in the conference hall of the Pedagogical Faculty.
The organizers of the conference have sent invitations to all schools included in the program “Reducing dropout rate of Roma children from school ", implemented with the support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation as well as schools outside the program, and all REIs in the country.
Participation of the academic community, represented by the teachers in Sofia, Shumen, Veliko Tarnovo Universities, experts from the Ministry of Education, as well as representatives of NGOs with proven success in the subject, is expected.
After the conference, Amalipe Center will issue a collection of the reports after a declaration of the participants.
