Community Development Center – Kameno, established by Amalipe Center held the final part on project "KEYROMA".

KEYROMA Project is funded by the Lifelong Learning Program of the European Commission and is implemented in 5 different countries (Spain, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria and Belgium) over a period of 2 years (January 2012. - January 2014.).

The main objectives of the KEYROMA Project are:

- Improving the socio-economic integration of Roma women through adult education;

 - Improving the quality of education of adults by providing information relevant to a very specific target group;

 - Increasing the participation of Roma women in training, which will increase their chances on the labor market;

 - Establishing a direct dialogue with the target audience and promoting social cohesion, active citizenship and personal commitment of the participating women.

The Project developed a variety of tools to address these problems by motivating and encouraging Roma women to help them develop the confidence to learn and be able to gain access on the labor market. One of these tools in this training module is designed according to the cultural needs and backgrounds of these women.

Fifteen women from the town of Kameno successfully completed the course and received certificates.

The closing meeting was attended by representatives of local authorities and representatives of the business from the area, the non-profit organization The faithful guardian. During the final meeting the Vice mayor of the Municipality Todor Petrov greeted the moderators of the Community Development Center in Kameno, thanked Amalipe Center for the activities carried out in the municipality and congratulated all of the trained women, wished them good luck in their realization on the labor market. He said that the trained women will be offered work when possible. Very positive was the speech of Mr. Milio Draganov, a man with long experience in the trade and cultivation of mushrooms. Fortunately, the fifty percent of the women are already employed.
All of the participants were confident that Project Key Roma will achieve its objectives and has already giving good results.
