From 25 to 27 October 2013, Center  Amalipe conducted a training of more than 70 teachers who will teach for the first year children in groups on EPA / CLUB , Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore ". Special guest of the training was Eugenia Volen - Director "Monitoring and Control" in Trust for social achievement. The interest of the children to this extracurricular activity is intense, because in those groups children learn to be tolerant with one another, to be proud of their origins and have fun learning with their peers, and quite often with their parents.

In the wonderful atmosphere of the " Lesoparka " complex, the teachers learned about the origin of Roma people and Roma groups, how to organize their classes in an interesting way and by using interactive methods. They also learned how to use the textbook, notebook and interactive discs made ​​specifically for these classes for two age groups 2-4 grade and 5-7 grades. Teachers had the opportunity apart from being trained to share their experiences and best practices, to find answers to their questions and to solve cases that they thought that they could not handle.

Special thanks to Maya Zrdavkova from Vasil Levski Primary school,  village of Karadjovo and Veronica Rankova of Hristo Smirnensky Elementary school, town of Byala Slatina for their successful implementation of open classes on EPA “Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore” and the opportunity given to their colleagues, who felt the atmosphere of those classes and assumed the role of students.

Center Amalipe has implemented the initiative and introduction of "Ethnic Folklore - Roma Folklore" in schools with a multicultural environment since 2002. Currently, more than 250 schools run the program. More than 7,000 students across the country are included in the "Folklore Ethnic - Roma folklore" classes and show good results. The program managed to reduce absenteeism of children from school, to improve their social skills and to motivate children and parents to actively participate in school life and to transform the school into a place for every child, a place where they can find something for themselves, to be enjoyable, interesting and able to learn and have fun!
