An annual meeting of EGAM 2013 - (European Grassroots Antiracist Movement) on topic «The Fight for Democracy in Europe» was held from 21st to 24th of November 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. Radoslav Stiliyanov, a coordinator of the project «Youth is tolerance» from Plovdiv, was sent to represent Center Amalipe. 
The participants, coming from different organisations fighting against discrimination, xenophobia and racism, were representing more than 20 countries: France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Montenegro, Austria, Turkey and many others. The main discussion was about the issues concerning democracy and human rights.
A discussion about Roma Pride — the day of Roma culture and pride in different European countries was held. The campaign of Center 'Amalipe' on Roma Pride which covered more than 30% of the territory of Bulgaria received special appreciation. School and university students, teachers, representatives from different institutions from all over Bulgaria participated in the campaign.
In Czech Republic, people from all over the country joined the march in the centre of Prague to celebrate Roma Pride. In Turkey, Roma Pride campaign was presented in the centre of Istanbul as a flash mob activity — a concert of Roma musicians.
The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to meet with a respected guest, a French Ambassador, Roland Galharague. The delegates visited Hungarian Holocaust museum, where a discussion on the mass murder of millions of innocent people because of their ethnic origin, took place. 
The fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination continues. Dealing with these issues is not only the task of the European organizations. It is a responsibility of the entire society. We have to respect the right to be different and learn how to be more tolerant.
