On February 12, RIE - Vratsa and "St. Kl. Ohridski" Primary school– village of Tishevitsa organized a workshop on "Another way to keep children in school", aimed at educational integration of children and students from ethnic minorities.

The initiative was attended by Nikolay Ivanov - mayor of Vratsa, Krasimir Bogdanov - vice mayor for Education, Culture , Sports and Tourism, Malina Nikolova - Chairman of the Municipal Council, Galina Evdenova - Head of RIE - Vratsa , Yonka Danova - Regional Coordinator in CIEDT "Amalipe", Spaska Mihailova - " New Road " - Hayredin, Tihomir Mashov - youth coordinator of "Amalipe" - Vratsa, Ilia Iliev – mayor of Tishevitsa , mayors and deputy mayors of villages in the municipality of Vratsa, directors of schools, located in the district including T. Tomchovska, V. Klimova, M. Donkova, V. Nenov, I. Nikolova, V. Pacheva, P. Russinova, J. Mihaylova, L. Nikolov, L. Lambova, directors of kindergartens, teachers and parents.

Guests had the opportunity to observe four open lessons "We are valuable because we are different" in fourth grade, "If you live healthy, you won’t get sick" in II group , "The teacher as educator in cyberspace" in VI grade , "The Verb - elephant of the grammar " in VII grade. Students of the teachers D. Statkova, K. Marinova, M. Orozova and N. Ivanova demonstrated use of IT through online programs, theoretical knowledge, skills for individual and teamwork.

The workshop continued with a presentation of the activities of the “St. Kl. Ohridski" Primary school within the Project "All at school", made by Dimitar Kostov - director of the school and Anelia Georgieva - senior teacher. Guests had the opportunity not only to learn about the details of the school initiative, funded by CEICSEM, but also to enjoy the beautiful dancing and singing skills of the group on "Roma folklore".

After a brief discussion during which the role of leader was taken by Plamenka Angelova - senior expert of the RIE – Vratsa, the event ended with a stylish cocktail.

By the end of the academic year 2013/14 the Inspectorate of Education plans to hold another workshop, which will be hosted by "V. Aprilov" Primary school – in the village of Harlets. All three schools / Primary School in the village of Kravoder,  Primary School in Tishevitsa and Primary school in Harlets / are part of the educational project of Center "Amalipe" - "Every student could be a winner”.
