Day of Europe - May 9, coincided with the implementation of activities related to the day of the student government .

Dozens of schools working on the program for prevention of Roma children drop out of school within the Project " Every student could be a winner" actively included Student parliaments in the planning and implementation of self-government . The project involves 170 schools from different educational backgrounds in the country and all of them has established their Student parliament / Council.

Students entered the " role " and replaced their principals, teachers and even the support staff in schools.
Classes in " NYVaptsarov" Primary school in the village of Selanovtsi, obl.Vratsa were presented in a very attractive and effective way.

Student parliaments of four schools in Pleven District shared their experience in solving problems in school. "Round Table" gathered representatives of the following schools:  "Father Paisij" PS, Knezha, "Hristo Botev" PS , village of Glava, "Father Paisij" PS, village of Radomirtsi, "Hristo Smirnenski" High school, Koynare. Students behaved very responsibly on the meeting and discussed their proposals to improve school life, increase success, reduce aggression; expressed their desire to increase extracurricular activities, and to be empowered to provide activities that are interesting and useful to their classmates.

A ceremony began after the "Round Table", which gave joy to the students and teachers from the four schools. The conclusion was that good things happen when teachers and students work in a team!

All parted with gratitude to the teachers of the host school in the village of Radomirtsi.

The Principal office of the "Jordan Jovkov" Primary school in Yambol, Mrs. Mima Kondov was granted to the President of the Student Parliament Kolio Kolev, to the vice president Venko Kirov and to Venko Venkov - a member. The President - Kolio Kolev demonstrated enviable way of work and canceled the Principal of a number of his daily routines. He implemented the method already applied by the Student Parliament – late students, accidentally or not accidentally, are encouraged to enter in class. In two weeks the student parliament implemented the method and all were convinced that the practice worked. Absenteeism and delays were reduced. The President did not hide that some of the participants in the parliament have proved inadequate and were replaced by others. "I ​​want to become a director, I feel good, it’s nice ..." said "the principal" Venko Venkov at the end of the day.

The day of student government was marked by the Vocational School of Light Industry, Ecology and chemical technology. Students and teachers exchanged roles throughout the day. A lesson for test solving was organized, where Peter Malinov, the regional pedagogical coordinator of Amalipe Center was in the role of a student! We believe him that he had filled the test correctly and presented the organization with dignity!

"St.Cyril and Methodius" PS in the village of Sarnevo, region of Stara Zagora also included in the Day of student government. Teachers were replaced by students who had prepared themselves in advance. It was a big excitement especially for students from first grade, who also taught their classmates.

The school day in Sarnevo finished in good moods and with the anthem of the European Union “Ode to Joy" sounding. The anthem was presented by students from EPA “Ethnic Folklore" group of students in 5th to 8th grade.

In "GS Rakovsky" PS, village of Golyamo Novo, Targovishte Region, Student Parliament participated in the preparation and implementation of the scenario for the participation of the school in the traditional 237 Spring Fair in the town of Targovishte.

In the town of Dolna Banya, Sofiya Region, The day of student government coincided with celebrations marking 40 anniversary of the town Dolna Banya. In “Neofit Rilski" High school the Student Parliament took the role of the school administration. The student Angelina Grozeva was in the role of the school principal Petya Ianeva and the celebration was in excellent organization. The teachers and principal were supporting the students, although they were empowered.

     
Across the country, the day dedicated to student government passed in the form of teamwork, friendship, and a reasonable distance between teachers and students. At many places local government representatives respected the labor of children and visited them at school.
