17.03.2017Ambassadors of Sweden and Finland visited the office of Center

Ambassador of Sweden H.E. Ms. Louise Bergholm and the Ambassador of Finland H.E. Ms. Päivi Blinnikka were dear guests in the office of Center "Amalipe" in Veliko Tarnovo. During the meeting, which was held on 15 March, the ladies got acquainted with the activities of the center and the major projects that Amalipe implements at national level - namely the Project "Every student will be a winner", covering more than 250 schools and the project "Community monitoring of health services."

Their Excellencies did not hide their satisfaction with the overall activities of the organization and persistence of its managers and employees to contribute to improving the quality of education, competitiveness in the labor market and provide better living conditions of minority groups in Bulgaria. They shared their belief that Roma integration is a very important component for the economic development of our country in the future and the formation of national policies for Roma inclusion is crucial. Advocacy in this direction will be their priority, as members of the Ambassadorial Group on Roma Inclusion, which was established in December 2015 on the initiative of HE Guro Katharina Vikyor - Ambassador of Norway in Bulgaria and Center "Amalipe." It also include the ambassadors of Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, Belgium, France, Austria, USA, Finland and Embassy of Norway (Bucharest).
