Teams working on educational and social projects talked with students on the main topics concerning education, health education, and social problems facing the Roma community in Bulgaria.
We discussed the specifics of the various Roma groups, which play a major role in their education and social integration. The main problems interested to students were related with Bulgaria’s policy, towards vulnerable groups, how they see themselves in the Bulgarian society, do they have equal opportunities?! Our guests expressed an interest, also for integration policies and does this is producing positive results and to what extent
We introduce to our guests the problems involves the integration of Roma groups in our country and we explain to them that nobody wants to make assimilation of the ethnic group in our country, but the opposite - that the Center Amalipe seeks in its work on achieving a high degree of tolerance, equal opportunities for everybody and explore the culture and folklore of various ethnic groups in the country because only if we are accepting diversity, we can channel their collective forces in a more - a better future.
“Your work has managed to convince us of how important is the integration policy pursued in all instances, and motivates us to work in the social sphere, seen through the policies of the Member States of EU, "said one of the guests at the end of the meeting
