The International Roma Day - April 8th was celebrated at four schools in Plovdiv region, which are participants in the project "Preventing the drop-out of Roma children": Primary school of the village of Bogdanitsa, Primary School "Hristo Botev", village of Brestovitsa, Primary School "Vasil Levski" village of Karadzhovo and Primary School "GS Rakovski "village of Bolyartsi.  The festival "Together we are strong" in which all the four schools took part was held on April 8th in the library of Bolyartsi, Sadovo municipality. 
The festival program was divided into two parts - a concert and a sport event.
On the stage of the library the students from the four schools showed their talents and skills. In the foyer of the library an exhibition of articles made by students of the four schools was arranged. Each school had a separate corner presenting the main activities of the school; it made the festival more interesting. The festival was opened with a folk from students of Bolyartsi. After this the students from Karadzhovo took us to world of magic of Roma dances all over the world. Students from the Primary school of Bogdanitsa told us the legend of the exodus of Roma, their history and life stories. The first part was finished by a presentation of the musical skills of the students from Brestovitsa who sang accompanied by their instruments. The concert ended with a poem and a song about friendship / Amalipe / sung by all the participants together.

The second part of the festival continued with sport tournaments. Teams of schools competed on the football field in the playground of "GS Rakovski "school. Everyone cheered for everyone, because they already had created new friendships and it was difficult to only support their own teams. Children sang, danced and played together. All of them left the festival with gifts, certificates and diplomas, loaded with good mood!
