"We came confused, but now we are starting well prepared, and highly motivated to do our job! The world of Roma revealed itself to us: a world we have touched every day but we have never understood before. We will “infect” the field workers with this, and the results will certainly come!" – wrote one of the participants in the feedback questionnaire. His opinion reflected the overall spirit of the meeting: in each of the pilot districts shall be created real teams among the three key institutions (in education, health care, social protection) and Roma community moderators. From October 2011, these teams will show whether the change in attitudes of teachers, health and social workers could happen and whether it will lead to a change in their work with Roma.
