"Sport for All"

Under this motto on August 14th , 2011 under the scorching August sun atthe stadium of Vodoley village was held  football game between the mixed teams of young people - volunteers from the local clubs for community development in villages Balvan, Vodoley, Batak and Varbovka within the project of Center "Amalipe" for community monitoring of access to health care of vulnerable ethnic minorities, funded by the Open Society Institute New York.

The goal of the initiative was the young people to promote their local clubs and to involve new volunteers for their cause - to improve living conditions in the four cities through personal  participation and contribution of every citizen.

Hours before the match the organizers mobilized 30 local volunteers who cut the grass of the stadium and outlined the playground, in anticipation of the first guests from Batak. With the group of Batak arrived  the village mayor, who personally encouraged his team.

Before the first signal of the judge, local cheerleaders showed impressive skills and increased the degree of mood of the audience.

After 90 minutes game under the hot sun, the result was equal and had a penalty shootout. At the end, with the result 5:4 won the mixed team from Batak and Varbovka. Volunteers went home with hope and ambition to make such events annually.

Whit this initiative ended a tense and dynamic season for the volunteers. After two weeks of vacation, they will be reunited with new forces and ideas for their future and the future of its location!
