Under this motto, from 10th to 13th of October 2011 was held health discussions among pupils from 1st to 4th grades in four primary schools in the villages of Batak Varbovka, Balvan and Vodoley. The health themes were developed and implemented by specialists from the Regional Health Inspection - Veliko Tarnovo - Dr. Ani Angelova and Psychologist Yordanka Ilieva.
Through interactive games and fun presentations, the pupils have learned basic things about the hygiene of the body, nutrition, clothes hygiene and diseases caused by dirty hands, as well as personal hygiene belongings - soap, sponge, comb, bathrobe, handkerchief. The experts explained how often they need to perform various hygiene procedures and demonstrated how properly to brush their teeth.
Discussions went with active participation of children. On behalf of the Centre "Amalipe", at the end of the discussions, activists from the local clubs for community development gave to each child a toothbrush and toothpaste.
This initiative is organized as part of a health information campaign launched in the four project villages by the project for community monitoring of access to health care of vulnerable ethnic communities, funded by Open Society - New York.
