On July 11, 12, 13 hotel "SPS" Plovdiv Amalipe organized a workshop for directors of schools in the Southeastern and Southwestern Bulgaria, willing to participate in the program for dropout prevention Roma pupils from school during the school year 2012/2013.
The project is a 3-year program which is being realized by Amalipe Center with the support of America for Bulgaria Foundation. A work meeting with heads and experts in educational integration of children and pupils from ethnic minorities who are representatives of Regional Educational Inspectorates (REI) was organized jointly by Center Amalipe and Ministry of Education, Youth and Science.
From July 18 to 20 in the height of the summer and in the eve summer holidays the chiefs and the experts from REI’s were familiarized with the results of the second year of the project ‘Decreasing the dropout rate of Roma children’.

The second partners meeting within the frames of CORE project took part in Tirgu Muresh, Romania. Representatives of all project partners from Bulgaria, Romania, Luthvania, Norway, Germany and Portugal met and discussed aspects of Roma educational integration at national and European levels. Center Amalipe participated in a conference of the TB Europe Coalition held in Sofia. Last week, members of the TB Europe Coalition traveled to Sofia to meet with the Bulgarian National TB Programme and civil society organisations working on TB to learn more about TB activities and advocacy in Bulgaria.
